Abstract
This bachelor thesis deals with reconstruction of CZ Scorpion submachine gun into PDW gun. The first part describes evolution of guns in PDW category. Next part provides overview of most common PDW calibers and selection of suitable cartridge is done there. Description of CZ Scorpion gun family follows. Based on selected CZ Scorpion gun a new PDW gun is designed. Next, barrel proof-load calculation, bolt mass calculation, functional diagram plot and magazine spring calculation are evaluated. In the conclusion technical parameters of the new designed PDW gun are discussed and evaluated.
