This thesis deals with a design and structure of the pitter, which can be used for removing stones from cherries. The sorting of pitter available on market is dealt with in the introduction. In the following chapter the pitter mechanism and implement construction are projected. There are several different designs in this work from which the most suitable one was picked in the end. During designing process the shape of implement and ergonomic standards were considered. The attention was also paid to integration utility and safety of mechanism with esthetic aspects. The thesis is competed with important mechanism calculations.
