The diploma thesis deals with the project of a sport ropeway for a transportation of people. The first part is an overview of similar attractions located in our country and abroad. In the following sections there are all calculations needed for the proposal itself. First I calculated the deflection curve of the rope and tensile forces by which I designed the support structure meeting the solidity standards. In other parts there are the braking mechanism and carrier truck designs.
