Abstract
This bachelor's thesis deals with the analysis of non-destructive methods (NDT) to detect defects on aircraft type B737 and A320 in the aviation maintenance organization and the methodology of selecting a suitable method of non-destructive testing for a specific type of defect. The reader will get acquainted with the reasons for the use of non-destructive methods and their individual types. They will also get acquainted with various types of defects that can be detected by NDT. The aim of this bachelor thesis is a methodology describing the selection of a suitable non-destructive method for detecting a specific type of defect. The bachelor's thesis should serve, for example, as a teaching material for the subject Aircraft Maintenance Procedures at the University of Mining - Technical University in Ostrava or as a basic teaching material for acquainting maintenance technicians with the issue of non-destructive fault detection methods.
