Abstract

This diploma thesis is focused on the validation of hypotheses about negative the influence of corruption on economic growth of thirty-four member states of the OECD for the period 2000-2011. The desired aim will be achieved through professional literature and gather information from empirical studies. Specifically, using several methods, and therefore abstraction, analysis, modeling and inference, while multiple regression analysis conducted using the method of least squares is considered to be the most important one. Other methods used in the analysis are the methods of descriptive, comparative and correlation analysis. Based on the results of an econometric model was ceteris paribus economic confirmed the hypothesis about the negative impact of corruption on the level of long-term economic growth.
