The bachelor thesis is deal with modernization of the Sub-machine Gun Scorpion EVO3 Carbine. Bachelor thesis is divided into five main chapters. The first chapter defines the term submachine gun, an overview of current modern submachine guns with their development trends and technical parameters. The second chapter is about history of the Scorpion vz.61 submachine gun. Development and serial production of the Scorpion EVO3 submachine gun and performance for the USA market. The third chapter defines construction of the Scorpion EVO 3 gun and the differences between versions S1 and A1. A detailed description of the functional cycle during shooting CZ Scorpion EVO3 and the possibility of modernizing the submachine gun. The fourth chapter defines the functional cycle of the weapon, theoretical calculations and a functional-graph. The fifth chapter defines an evaluation of the modernization of Scorpion EVO 3 gun.
