Abstract
The most significant subject, which is dealt with in my thesis is the mechanical design of a mobile robot module with a lifting mechanism for transportation of pallets. In the first part of my work several manufacturers producing similar transporting devices and operating in the world markets are identified. The most frequent design of roller conveyors was outlined together with the schematic design of the conveyor, the robot was designed for. The most suitable variant was chosen out of four variants using value analysis. The chosen variant was worked up into 3D model
