Abstract
The aim of this bachelor thesis was static stress analysis of the frame structure for the Yankee Roller. The construction was tested by two methods. The first method, the analytical one, checked the simplified construction. The second method was numerical. The structure was examined by using the FEM (Finite Element Method). The numerical model was prepared in MSC Patran 14.1 and the solution executed in MSC Nastran 14.1. At the same time, the task was processed and analyzed in software ANSYS Workbench 18.0. In the end, the results of both these methods (analytical and numerical one) were compared and the frame structure was evaluated that structure complied with the ČSN EN 1993 standard.
