Abstract

The diploma thesis deals with the mechanical design of a part of the coupling mechanism of vehicle-launched bridge, the distance grip. The introduction of the thesis deals with the research of currently used bridge vehicles, the function of distance grip, and the reason for the optimization of its existing design solution. The next part of the work deals with the mechanical design itself and the calculation of the forces required for strength check and optimization. The strength check is performed in the final part of the work. Part of the work is drawing documentation.
