Abstract
Thesis describes the primary features and construction of LEDs. This issue also includes an analysis of the temperature behavior of bright sources. The most important part of the thesis is the role of the laboratory which graphically shows the effect of temperature on the spectral characteristics of the single briht sources used in optical communications. Were measured power LEDs, LEDs and laser diodes.
