Abstract

This Thesis looks into the design and calculation of an automatic centrifugal clutch for Blata racing motorcycle. In the beginning of the thesis we are introduced to the research and design of centrifugal clutches. The next part describes basic calculations for the centrifugal clutch with the proposed dimensions and stresses. The next step modifies and applies these basic calculations to Blata clutch. The next chapter shows all the data and a graphic presentation. The following chapter compares the actual measuring of the clutch unit with the results. Final part of the thesis suggest any design modifications that would help to improve the efficiency and the heat dissipation.
