Analýza barevných možností a omezení v multibarevném 3D tisku s využitím Stratasys J5 DentaJet

Abstract

This diploma thesis deals with the evaluation of color reproduction in PolyJet 3D printing using the Stratasys J5 DentaJet system. The theoretical part describes the principles of full-color 3D printing, PolyJet technology, the Stratasys J5 DentaJet printer, digital data preparation, color profiles, and methods for color measurement. Special attention is given to the CIE L*a*b* color space and the evaluation of color difference ΔE. In the experimental part, a set of test samples was designed with different colors, thicknesses, print orientations, and surface modes, Glossy and Matte. The samples were created in Autodesk Inventor, prepared in GrabCAD Print, and printed on the Stratasys J5 DentaJet system. Color measurements were performed using a ColorLite sph900 spectrophotometer, and the results were compared with reference shades from the RAL color chart. Additional measurements were also carried out using selected printed samples as internal reference standards and to evaluate the sensitivity of the system to small changes in the input RGB values. The results showed that the final color appearance is influenced not only by the assigned digital color, but also by sample thickness, print orientation, surface mode, and the selected color profile in GrabCAD Print. The lowest color differences were observed for the grey samples, while the highest deviations were found for the red samples, especially in Matte mode. The thesis confirms that color fidelity in 3D printing on the Stratasys J5 DentaJet system must be evaluated in relation to the specific combination of technological and software parameters.
