Master thesis is dealing with question of energy management in the VÍTKOVICE POWER ENGINEERING PLC. The thesis consists of two parts – theoretical and practical. The practical part which served as a basis for determination of critical areas analyses currect state of energy management in VPE and explores possibilities of more effective ways of energy management. Based on the obtained data and said analysis, necessary energy calculations were performed to determine the appropriate solution that could subsequently be put into practice and therefore help the company to move to more economical approach in energy management.
