Abstract
The presented dissertation deals with the design and optimization of LED spot lights for laboratory, studio and film lighting. The aim is to maintain and improve the optical physical and ergonomic parameters achieved by professional lighting equipment, while reducing production costs and coming up with an open-source solution. The introduction summarizes the current situation on the Czech lighting market and defines the optical and physical parameters. The main part of the work presents the design and gradual optimization of LED spot light, which results in the creation of a functional prototype tested by comparative measurements and tests that have demonstrated the functionality and achievement of the set goals. The benefit of this work is the use of 3D plastic printing to create an open-source solution in the field of professional lighting technology. This is possible only thanks to properly performed heat dissipation optimization, which would otherwise have a devastating effect on the plastic parts. Thanks to the optimization, the 3D printing method is also used in the production of lighting technology. Normally, the use of diodes, which, in addition to light, also emit a large amount of waste thermal energy, makes it impossible to combine them with plastic materials.
