Abstract

Bachelor thesis is focused on examining the methods of investigation of residual stresses in plastics. Most attention is devoted to the sawing method that is used to determine the residual stress in the plastic pipe. In the experimental section were acquired geometrical dimensions the studied samples with using the measuring device. Analytical calculations are a combination the theory of thick curved beams, potential strain energy and Castiglian‘s sentence. The numerical solution is performed with using the Finite Element Method in program ANSYS 14.5. In the end, the final comparison and evaluation of analytical and numerical calculations.
