Abstract
The aim of this thesis is the calculation and the design of the steam jet ejector with the predefined parameters in order to be used as regenerative feed water heating in the thermal power plant cycle. The theoretical part of the thesis contains a description of the physical behaviour of the flow in every individual part of the compressor - nozzle, mixing chamber and diffuser. It also describes the efficiency and properties of stream jet ejector. Additionally the thesis describes the connection of the steam jet ejector and its significance as regenerative feed water in the Rankin-Claus cycle. In the calculation section, all calculations required to design the steam jet ejector for specified parameters are given. The design drawings are enclosed at the end of the thesis.
