Vliv ochlazování austenitických ocelí při svařování metodou TIG

Abstract

This thesis investigates the effects of cooling on austenitic steels during TIG welding. The introduction provides an analysis of steels with an austenitic structure and the methods used to weld them. The experimental section describes the construction of a cooling device and the TIG welding of four specimens under various cooling conditions. The objective was to assess the effect of cooling on the quality of the weld and the entire welding process. To this end, temperature field measurements and standardized destructive and non-destructive tests of welded joints were used, such as visual inspection, penetrant testing, microscopic and macroscopic examination, and microhardness testing.
