Abstract

The thesis deals with topic of nitrited layer creation based on the method of ion nitration application on the surface cleaned and raw steel substracts. The state of the surface of substracts influents the adhesion, corrosion and mechanical properties of nitrited layer. Results of measurement proved that the surface pre-treatment directly influences the time of ion nitration. Raw specimens have bigger depth of nitrited layer but on the other hand the hardness decreases. Anti – corrosion protection is very insufficient, there should be another surface treatment applied on the nitrited parts.
