Abstract

Diploma thesis deals with design of the device for milling a slot into the cover of steel centering.The device should have two positions, which enables it to change a finished piece and mill a slot into the other piece paralelly. In introductory chapters the thesis deals with analysis of cutting power. Accordig to cutting power the size of propulsion is chosen. In this part of the thesis the right conception of a machine is sorted out. Into the right conception of a machine the chosen propulsion is set.In latter parts of the thesis I deal with pneumatic part. I suggest pneumatic circuits to aim the target fuction of the machine. I choose individual pneumatic elements and consider which variation of controlling is more suitable.
