Abstract

The paper deals with a project of feed roller placing for the steelworks ArcelorMittal Ostrava a.s. The goal of the thesis is to design, construct - including manufacturing drawings, and produce a functional sample of existing feed roller side placing for ArcelorMittal Ostrava a.s. continuous casting, which will be generally simpler than existing solution and will comply with at least the same attributes from the life span of the device point of view. This thesis can be used by Marta Vránová company in its marketing plan to win the contract on the anticipated demand for feed roller placing change by ArcelorMittal Ostrava a.s.
