Abstract
This bachelor thesis is focused on the engineering design of portland cement sampling device. It is intended a substitute manual sampling that has to make the process easier and should improve the sample taking process quality. Specific parameters were specified by the company DSD - Dostál a.s., Dřevohostice. The research part includes introduction of the issues of the sampling, gravity transport by its own weight and description of the sampling material. The research part also includes a summary of mechanical samplers using for bulk material. The calculation part is focused on suggesting ideal drives for the sampler. Furthermore, the screw conveyor calculation including strength calculation were done. The appendix of this bachelor thesis includes the sampler and the screw conveyor assembly drawings, the screw shaft and the housing of clutch workshop drawings.
