Abstract

The thesis deals with a design of a gate valve with insert saddles according to technical and service parameters. There is a technical description of gate valve in an introduction. After that, a design solution of a valve body with insert saddles and a division of a completed bonnet into a bonnet and a cover are made. Then the design calculation of the gate valve is made. An assembly drawing of gate valve, working drawings and casting drawings of the body, the bonnet and the cover is attached in annex of the thesis.
