Abstract

The diploma thesis deals with the construction proposal for hydraulic briquetting press machine which is intended for processing of wood sawdust or shavings. Hour pressing capacity is 400 kg per hour and the resulting briquettes are cuboid in shape. The theoretical part deals with the processing of biomass as solid fuel with an overview of briquetting presses. The practical part deals with the detailed construction design including mechanical and hydraulic drives and their calculations.
