Abstract
Master thesis is dealing with the design of the carriage drive-up lifting ramp (platform) for immobile passengers. The overall concept of device which has a major use in public transport, is based on the requirements and goals of the work. The research describes possible variants of the design of lifting mechanism and compares the advantages and disadvantages of different types of drives. The entire engineering design includes a complete schematic and dimensional solution and it is substantiated by the stress-strain analysis and kinematic analysis. The design of some elements is verified by finite element method analysis (FEM). Thesis includes the design of folding boards and emergency control of the entire device. Master thesis is supplemented by a drawing of compilation of lifting ramp, working drawings of welded assembly of main support arm of lifting mechanism and working drawings of the parts of lifting mechanism.
