Abstract

The submitted master thesis deals with the structural analysis of a homogenous weld of P92 steel. The theoretical part of thesis deals with the characteristics of steel brand P92, it deals with its weldability, characteristics of creep and creep testing methods. Further, in the first part of thesis is included the issue of creep quarry, microscopic analysis focusing on the steel P92 and electron microscopy study which includes also methods for the preparation of carbon extraction replicas. The experimental part of thesis is based on trial creep weld tests. After the creep test of selected samples (DH10, DH11 and DH12) was determined hardness profile by HV method across the weld joint. Further with same samples was carried out metallographic analysis of the weld including a quantitative assessment of minority phases by electron microscopy.
