Abstract

Master thesis deals with the design and construction design of a rotating positioner, which is used for positioning with a weldment during welding of automobile axles. In the introductory part the thesis focuses on market research of positioners and their main structural parts. Furthermore, the found construction nodes are evaluated with subsequent selection of a suitable variant. This part builds on the constructional design of the positioner, where the problem of precise positioning with the weldment is solved. Furthermore, the work contains the strength calculation of components, which depends on the weight of the weldment and the clamping force load. Last but not least, the work proposes the supply of electrical energy and data signals to the rotating part of the arm. The functions and parts of the designed positioner are described in the technical report, which refers to the drawings and calculations.
