Abstract

The bachelor thesis deals with the concept of the surgery table lifting mechanisms. The theoretical part describes exploration of the market with surgery tables. Advantages and disadvantages of the most used tables are described. Further there is a theoretical description of mechanisms principles. Kinematic analyses and syntheses are provided for two mechanisms. The thesis aim is to design feasible variants of the surgery table lifting mechanism, which would work purely on mechanical principals. It has to fill all demands requiring hospital conditions. The lifting should be as smooth and fast as possible. Necessary treading force should be reduced to minimum. The two variants have been designed; both have been subjected to kinematic analysis and synthesis. An optimization method has been used to optimize the most mechanism dimensions. Unfortunately none of the variant reached feasible lift rate and treading force. That’s why is using of these variant recommend to veterinary surgeries.
