Řešení problému šroubových spojů tlakové nádoby

Abstract

This thesis discusses the issue of circular flange joints during their assembly and their subsequent operating conditions. The aim of the thesis is to examine the current proposal for selected flange connections in inter-coolers by ASME Code Sec. VIII, Div. 1 standards. The next aim is to perform a calculation in accordance with EN 1591-1 standards and compare the results. The EN calculation methods are checked using FEM simulation and experiment. The purpose of this simulation is to determine the nature of deformation produced in flanges and gaskets and examine the effects of these deformations on the bolt pretension. The next step assesses the usability of the bolted joints diagram for the specified type of flange connections. Finally, results of the experiment and FEM simulation are compared with theoretical results. The appendix contains mechanical drawings of the testing equipment, calculations for select flanges according to ASME standards, and results of all specified flanged connections designated under EN standards.
