Abstract

This master's thesis focuses on the design of an assembly machine for automated parts assembly. The topic was proposed by the company TEMEX, Ltd., which provided input data in the form of specific components (Bracket, Bolt, O-ring) intended to be assembled automatically. The aim of the thesis is to develop a mechanical design of a single-purpose assembly machine capable of assembling these components into a complete product. The thesis includes an analysis of input requirements, concept design, selection of the optimal solution, and design of individual assembly stations in terms of functionality and drive selection. The calculation part is mainly focused on the design of motion mechanisms, force and torque calculation, and analysis of the machine cycle time. The result is a comprehensive machine design ready for implementation in automated production.
