Peletování papírových a kompozitních odpadů s obsahem PE pro energetické využití

Abstract

The thesis focuses on the issue of processing waste materials based on cellulose and composite materials containing PE. Thesis is divided into 3 parts – theoretical, practical and design. The theoretical part aimed to evaluate the potential for the use of cellulose waste for the pellet production. The practical part was devoted to the pelletization of samples. Office paper, flyers, cardboard, paper hand towels and used coffee cups were selected as samples of the investigated materials. The pellets were evaluated in terms of mechanical properties and energy parameters. The resulting measurement values show that the properties of the pellets are significantly influenced by the composition of the input material. The influence of additives and printing inks is clearly visible. The monitoring of the energy requirements of crushing and pelletization was also part of the study. The design part was focused on creating a design solution for a screw conveyor.
