Abstract
This bachelor thesis deals with the design of a test device for determining the coefficient of friction between the rope and the friction disc. In the introduction, a theoretical part is developed, which deals with the basic division of cable elevators. Lift ropes are divided according to the type of drive and the method of transmission of heavy forces. The next chapter describes the current state of the art rope ropes with three types of grooves: wedge, semicircular, semicircular with a notch. The following chapter deals with the design of the test equipment, which contains capacity and performance calculations for the implemented test equipment. Furthermore, the coefficients of friction in the individual grooves are determined and the effective forces acting on the rope pulley are used. The last chapter is focused on the strength control in the grooves and the control of the supporting frame. Part of the bachelor thesis is drawing documentation.
