Abstract
The objective of this work is to understand the finite volume method and its application for solving Computational Fluid Dynamics problems. Application of Finite Vlume Method to solve diffusion equation, convection-diffusion equation and Navier-Stokes equation is presented in this work. Algorithm SIMPLE is introduced as a way to solve Navier-Stokes equation. This algorithm SIMPLE is used solve well-known Computational Fluid Dynamics problems such as lid-driven cavity and tunnel.
