Abstract

My bachelor thesis deals with the topic of measuring the satisfaction and motivation of employees in the steel industry. Its main aim is to analyze the satisfaction and motivation of employees in the steel business by means of finding measurements for improvement and present several proposals for refinement. The work is divided into two parts. The first part of the paper focuses on theoretical approaches whereas in the second part the incentive system of a metallurgical plant is analyzed and evaluated. Therefore a survey for staff satisfaction and motivation is examined and used to propose improvements for the incentive system in the steel industry.
