Abstract
The master thesis deals with the possibilities of influencing the shape and dimensions of metal work pieces using correction systems, tilting the cutting head during cutting abrasive water jet. The first part is focused on unconventional cutting methods with special aim on cutting by high-speed abbrasive water jet. Basic cutting principles, machine parts, jet types, surface quality and cutting parameters are explained in theoretical part. Another part of thesis is dedicated to correction systems used during the experiment. These systems are speed control with respect to used material, dynamic radius correction, and ProgressJet System. Correction systems influence on various materials is examined in practical part. Materials are evaluated according to their surface quality with respect to abrasivenes of cutting area, possible bevel and time neccessary for sample cutting.
