Návrh výroby součásti z hliníkové slitiny v podmínkách společnosti Edwards s.r.o.

Abstract

The thesis deals with a proposal of the production of an aluminium alloy component at Edwards, Ltd. The thesis focuses on implementation and verification of the production proposal, with subsequent removal of problems in the manufacturing process. The theoretical part describes the issues involved in the machining of aluminium alloys and the analysis of appropriate cutting tools. In the practical part, the manufacturing technology is analysed and the component manufacture proposal is worked out. The proposal encompasses selection of cutting tools suitable for machining of aluminium alloys and determination of cutting conditions. The proposal also contains working-out of the component measuring procedure at the CMM equipment, and the method of inter-operational storage. In the conclusion, technical-economic evaluation is performed where the component purchase price is compared with the cost for the manufactured component.
