Abstract

The bachelor´s thesis deals with a design of a crane track in a storage hall. The introduction is carried out as a background research describing cranes, particularly the bridge crane, its crane track and the lightweight storage hall system VEDE®. Furthermore the loading strengths, according to the ČSN –Czech Technical Standard, and the point of maximum flexural moment which then served as the basis for choice of an appropriate profile of a crane-track girder have been calculated. Using these parameters a strength field test, with the help of the FEM, and the design of the crane way have been carried out. The conclusion of the thesis offers various alternative solutions for the crane track; describes the assembly and everything is summed up from the economical perspective as well. The main aim of the thesis was to draft a crane track and its alternatives with regard to functionality and possible cost reduction. Drawing and design documentation can be found in the enclosure.
