Vznik a vývoj mateřských škol v souvislosti s legislativou od roku 2003 ve statutárním městě Most

Abstract

This Bachelor’s thesis deals with the emergence of nursery schools and their further development in the town of Most. It points at significant reforms in education from the late 19th century to the present. The first part describes the very beginnings of the Czech education in Most, and the history of the establishment of nursery and basic schools within the town. It also describes the development of education after World War II and activities of public administration and local government in education. The middle part deals with the nursery schools and their legislation since 2003. Furthermore, it describes the process of competitive examinations for the position of director of a nursery school. The last part contains insight into the future. At the conclusion, this thesis compares and evaluates particular historical periods according to economic and pedagogical aspects.
