Abstract

The bachelor thesis deals with the calculation of the axle load capacity of the axle used on the Handy 20 type trailer, AGADOS spol. s r.o. company, based in Velké Meziříčí, Czech Republic. It contains a detailed analysis of the problems of trailer trucks including the conditions of their operation on roads. The thesis also contains relevant legislation for the operation of trailers and semi-trailers. The practical part of the thesis includes an analytical strength calculation of the VG 7-L axle used on the trailer under consideration. The calculations are performed in two methods, which are commented in the conclusion and their suitability for use is compared.
