Abstract
My thesis is concerned with tension of conveyor belt by force of pneumatic cylinder. In the introduction are described pneumatic machineries, their usage in transportation and manipulation equipment and conveyor belts are analysed. In computer programme Autodesk Inventor was projected the whole construction of conveyor belt, tensing mechanism and also components which control the tension. Then, static and dynamic calculation necessary to dimensioning the tensing mechanism were solved. Critical points were re-counted using Finite Element Method. Conveyor belt stretching was realized by manostat which was set to constant pressure. The layout of constant pressure tensing mechanism was simulated on asaembled model and operated by computer programme Matlab Simulink. At last, tensing mechanism of conveyor belt was controlled using PLC module.
