Abstract

This Bachelor thesis is focused on hiring and recruitment of people. The thesis is divided into four main sections. Part I provides theoretical bases for staff hiring and recruitment process. The theoretical overview has been performed in details, in particular of both internal and external conditions for staff hiring, staff hiring steps and methods, staff selection preparatory phase, staff selection steps and methods. Part II presents Bytostav Poruba, a.s., its history, how this joint stock company was established and what organisation structure and strategies have been implemented. Company data in figures are stated at the end of this part. Part III includes an analysis of current status in hiring and recruitment in Bytostav Poruba, a.s. Hiring and recruitment procedures and methods used in Bytostav Poruba, a.s. are described in details. Research study and evaluation of its feedback can be found at the end of this part. Contents of Part IV offer improvement ideas and recommendations to help the company promote its hiring and recruitment process.
