Abstract
The thesis deals with design of forged gate valves A42 according to technical and operational conditions. Technical description and description of use and pressure test of forged gate valve is included in first part of the thesis. The design is prepared by CAE model and design calculation is worked. The thesis follows by check calculation and fine element method analysis using software SolidWorks Simulation 2011. The annex of thesis contains manufacturing drawing.
