Abstract
Thesis deals with importance of regional food products and food in Czech Republic, mainly in Olomouc region. In thesis there are included characteristic of Olomouc region, its division, natural Condillac and other touristic interestingness in the region. Further, there are analyzed institutions, regional food support, its brands, specific foodstuff, its history and the present. Besides there are described festivals, cultural actions and touristic interestingness connected with the specific food products. In practical part I use a questionaire and research the importance of regional food and foodstuff for tourists in 2014.
