Abstract

The thesis deals with positional accuracy testing of the Digital Technical Map of Ostrava City (DTMOC). Independent check surveys and evaluation of the check surveys were carried out in the cadastral districts of Poruba, Dubina u Ostravy, Hošťálkovice and Přívoz. The locations were selected in collaboration with the Ostrava City Authority and with DIGIS spol. s r.o., the DTMOC administrator. Locations were selected in order to represent various densities and types of development, origin of map base documents from which the DTMOC was derived and the methods of the DTMOC elaboration. When testing the DTMOC positional accuracy, topography of identical points was also compared between the DTMOC and the Digital Cadastral Map (DCM) in cadastral districts of Poruba, Dubina u Ostravy and Hošťálkovice. All surveys were linked to the system of United Triangulation Network by the cadastral method of the Global Navigation Satellite System (GNSS). Test results proved the declared accuracy of the DTMOC in three selected locations and also the comparison with the DCM confirmed the homogeneity of both map documents. Alignment errors in the area of Hošťálkovice exceed the limit values and the author recommends execution of further geodetic surveys in the location, evaluation of alignment errors and possibly also transformation of the whole area in order to achieve homogenization of the DTMOC and the DCM and concurrently also the independent survey by means of the GNSS method.
