Abstract

The bachelor thesis deals with the calculation of the overall efficiency of a gas CHP unit with internal combustion. In the introduction, fuels, types of CHP units and heat exchangers occurring in the energy industry are described. This is followed by a technical description of the selected CHP unit including its PID diagram, a description of the important measured variables including their measurement principles and the procedure for calculating the efficiency of a specific CHP unit.
