Abstract

Master Thesis deals with check and optimization of the current power steering hydraulic system for TATRA vehicles. Specifically, the design and optimization of a hydraulic power steering secondary circuit emergency pump. In the event of a failure of the primary engine-driven pump or primary pipeline circuit damage, the ground-driven emergency pump will start operating. Within the work, the minimum values of pressure and flow of the hydrogenerator for successful completion of the homologation test and compilation of a mathematical model were found. Finally, the individual types of backup hydrogenerators are compared.
