Strategie podniku v oblasti telekomunikačních služeb

Abstract

The diploma thesis is concerned with mapping the competitive environment in the Czech Republic and assess whether the current strategy of the company fulfills business objectives. My thesis is divided into 5 parts, the first chapter is devoted to theoretical and methodological background, where the terms strategy, strategic management and last but not least, strategic analysis. The diploma thesis is about company Vodafone Czech Republic a.s., then subsequently examines the internal and external environment of the company. To assess the strategy in the period 2006 – 2010, SWOT analysis was selected, method 4C, industry analysis and Porter's five forces analysis, which examines the competitive environment, business, latest analysis of the internal environment of the BCG matrix, examining the company's product portfolio. The diploma thesis is to propose measures to improve economic conditions for the provision of telecommunication services.
