Abstract
This thesis deals with the attitude of tourists towards the city of Ostrava as a tourist destination. The work consisted of two sub-objectives. The first goal was to find out the image of the city of Ostrava itself. The second goal is subsequently the attitude of tourists towards technical monuments, since technical monuments can be considered the main attraction in the city.
The theoretical part dealt with consumer behavior in the tourism industry, then attitudes and image were discussed. Furthermore, a data collection methodology was created, which was followed by a research analysis. The research results were analyzed using the SPSS program. Based on the results of the analysis, proposals and recommendations were made at the end of the work to improve the perception and attendance of the city of Ostrava
