Abstract
The theme of my work is to measure user satisfaction with the learning management system. I focus on the LMS Moodle Faculty of Economics VŠB-TUO. The aim of this thesis is to measure user satisfaction with the characteristics of the LMS system, then determine how these properties are relevant to users. Also, I wonder how the users are satisfied with the factors of service and how are these factors important to them.
Based on the needs of the Inovation of Education Institute, I created two questionnaires. One was for teachers and one was designed for students.
After analysis I found that Moodle is currently used by educators almost on the same level as the IIS and if students are even higher utilization rates. On the basis of positional maps, I found that the lowest rated feature is the clarity of courses. Regarding services, was rated as the worst quality of service. Furthermore, I wonder whether respondents would be interested in new services, but in the end it turned out that they have fully complies with the current. Another interesting point was the introduction of help desk services, whose introduction would be interested in most of the respondents.
After evaluating the responses from both questionnaires, I made suggestions and recommendations, which I categorized into 5 areas. It is a recommendation to the product, services, communications and human processes. All materials were sent to Head of the Inovation of Education Institute RNDr. Danuše Bauerové, Ph.D. and will work with them.
