Abstract
Bachelor's thesis focuses on the design of a plastic shredder intended for recycling waste generated by 3D printing, with particular attention to specific types of materials used in the process. The main objective is to develop a device capable of producing granulate from recycled plastic, suitable for filament production. The introductory part of the thesis analyzes available design solutions for shredders. This is followed by the selection of the most commonly used materials in 3D printing and an evaluation of their mechanical properties. The thesis also defines the requirements for the quality of the resulting recycled material. Based on the findings from the research section, several design variants are proposed, from which the most suitable one is selected. The final part includes a strength analysis of the chosen design using the Finite Element Method (FEM).
