Přístup generace Z k novým trendům v managementu

Abstract

The aim of this thesis was to determine the attitudes of Generation Z toward new trends in management. Specifically, the study examined their views on three management trends: artificial intelligence, sustainability and social responsibility, and well-being. Quantitative data were collected via a questionnaire survey (N=111), and qualitative data were collected through five structured interviews. The selected data were statistically tested using Pearson’s chi-square test of independence. The results show that the trends examined are very important to members of Generation Z. They use artificial intelligence every day or several times a week. They trust the answers generated by artificial intelligence, but verify their accuracy before using them. They would welcome regulation of artificial intelligence in the workplace and are opposed to interviews conducted by artificial intelligence. In the area of sustainability and social responsibility, it turned out that nearly half of the respondents would prefer to work for a socially responsible company over a company with higher financial compensation that is not socially responsible. Members of this generation emphasize alignment between personal and corporate values and are willing to pay extra for more eco-friendly products. Research indicates that members of Generation Z want well-being to be addressed in the workplace. They consider poor interpersonal relationships to be the biggest stressor in the workplace and would welcome the introduction of practical well-being training.
